The dictionary defines Advise/Counsel as making recommendations as to a course of action by someone with actual knowledge and; giving advise after careful deliberation and suggests weighty matters are involved. Exactly!
TurnRight is in the business of advising/counseling clients based upon the many years of experience it has gained during numerous engagements, many of which were with companies who were in crisis and under-performing situations. But more than just sharing, we work hard to apply that knowledge to the situation of the client, for the client’s benefit.
TurnRight looks at itself from two perspectives. One, as a MASH team. The client is bleeding and needs someone to tell them if what they are thinking of doing will stop the bleeding. Two, the client isn’t bleeding but will be entering into a war zone and wants to benefit from the experiences of guys who have been there. They don’t want to lose any blood and want to know what roads not to take. (We suspect your situations won’t be this dire but we will take it this seriously!)
Many consulting firms will write reports and leave them on the client’s desk after a nice PowerPoint® presentation. TurnRight isn’t real good at PowerPoint® presentations and would prefer to sit across a desk, roll up our sleeves and hammer out a program that will work. Not real fancy but darn effective. Hey, aren’t results all that matter?
